At the club opening... |
Skye: Jax, I'm being honest this time. Jax: You know, you might want to try your brother. He might be a more receptive audience. Skye: Well, that might be a little difficult considering I locked AJ in a closet. Jax: I'm not in the mood for this, Skye, especially tonight, ok? Skye: Jax... Jax: Just... Skye: I get it, ok? Look, I know it's wrong for AJ to be manipulating that girl and I've told him to stop, but he won't. So now I have to do whatever I can to keep him away from her and, in the process, keep Sonny from doing any damage. Jax: Well, for your sake, I hope it works. Skye: I meant what I said. No more game-playing. I've been playing both sides against the middle for too long, but I'm finished. Skye: Something like that. Jax: When did this happen? Skye: When I realized that this is the last chance I've got not to lose. Jax: Lose what? Skye: This isn't easy. I'm a highly accomplished liar. Jax: Yeah, well, that much I'm aware of. Jax: But you did it anyway. Skye: There are all sorts of things I wanted in my life, things that I've managed to screw up because of my behavior. But I'm done, Jax. I want to change. I'm headed in a new direction, I really mean it. Jax: You know, you certainly sound sincere. Skye: I am. Jax: So what are you so afraid to lose? Skye: Yeah, I understand. Jax: I'll catch up with you later.

Ned: Nice party. Skye: I'm not in the mood for your gloating tonight, Ned. Ned: Was I gloating? Skye: Sorry, I'm not going to do that anymore. I'm working on a new attitude. Ned: Well, you'd better get busy because Grandfather's way ahead of you in the sucking-up department. Skye: Jax has already named me CEO. Ned: Oh, I guess you haven't heard the news. Jax gave his proxy to Grandmother. He sold you out. |
