[Inside] Sonny: The guy at the door says my sister's here.

Jax: Well, what seems to be the problem, gentlemen?

Bouncer: It's a private club, members only, capice?

Skye: Surprise! I'm not behind bars after all. I'm free to do whatever I choose to do and what I choose to do first, is this.

Skye: Your little plan to send me and AJ to prison didn't work. Despite having found your long lost sister and her mother and trying to use them to pull it off. Well, you shake your head at me for protecting a brother I barely know just you wait until somebody messes with your sister.

Sonny: You threatening my family?

Sonny: You're a fool! You're a fool. But you're fortunate because I have a rule against hurting women. But one of the days somebody is going to swat you down and you're not gonna be able to get up. You better hope your luck holds, cause one of these days you're gonna meet somebody you shouldn't be messing with and he's gonna squash you.

Jax: Yes, by all means let Sonny fend for himself as he was doing so vividly when I walked up. Something about squashing someone, was it?  Huh, who is it, Sonny?  Who is it you are going to swat down?

Sonny: You.

Jax: If you want to come after me, I'm ready whenever you are.

Sonny: The person who is gonna tear you down, Jax, is standing right next to you. And Skye, you better enjoy it cause it's gonna cost you. Any, any woman who would sell out her own family would screw you over as soon as she can, but you know what, you want to protect her, I'm not standing in your way. Go ahead, candy boy.

Alexis: Jax, just walk away.

Jax: I assume this means your backing down.

Sonny: Why would I want trouble from you? You found it on your own. The knight in shining armor defends the garden-variety tramp.

Jax: Watch your mouth!

Jax: I meant what I said.

Sonny: Yeah? So did I.

Jax: Goodnight, Alexis.

Alexis: Night.

Jax: Shall we?

Jax: The minute I get you out of jail, you go into a gangster's hangout and get in Sonny's face.

Skye: I wanted him to know I was out of jail.

Jax: Why do you insist on flinging yourself at all kinds of risk, necessitating perpetual rescue?

Skye: You gotta be kidding me? This coming from a man who climbs mountains and kayaks waterfalls.

Jax: Hey, I know what I'm doing, okay.

Skye: I knew what I was doing. I didn't need a white knight to come and save me, you just happened to be there. As far as I can tell it's just in your DNA. Was your father like this or something? Or is this some by-product of reading heroic books when you were a child?

Jax: What?

Skye: As a kid did something really terrible happen and you decided from then on that you were gonna be the white knight, whether or not anybody needed one. That's not what happened.

Jax: We've been thru all this, you know. I'm not a white knight, you know, we've covered that. I'm just a guy with one or two good instincts. If I see a hungry puppy, for instance, I tend to find some food for it and maybe a home. I mean that's called simple human decency. You act like you've never experienced it before.

Skye: Frankly, no.  Not very often.

Jax: Oh.

Skye: Well, right now I'm a very hungry puppy. Could you buy me a hotdog, please?

Jax: If you promise me something.

Skye: I'm under your protection remember?  You want me to starve?

Jax: Hey, Skye, I'm serious. I want you to promise me not to get in trouble again.

Skye: If I do, will you rescue me?

Jax: Promise, Skye, or no hotdog.

Skye: All right. I promise I will stay out of trouble.

Jax: Okay then. Hey, let me get two hotdogs.

Skye: No more trouble for me.  'Till I come up with something really good.
