Jax: Hello.
Skye: Jax, I'm trapped. I need your help.
Jax: I'm in the middle of something.
Skye: Are you hearing this? This is a matter of life and death. I need you to get me out of here.
Jax: Where are you?
Skye: Well, I'm not sure, but these men...
Jax: What men? Did they, who did this?
Skye: Sonny's people. They were wearing hoods. It was terribly frightening.
Jax: Did they hurt you?
Skye: Nobody hurts me, Jax, ok? Look, it's cold and dark in here, and they locked me in. I don't know what they could do next.
Jax: Ok, Skye, pay attention. This is what I want you to do.
Skye: I'm listening, but please, hurry. I don't know how much longer I can hold out.
Jax: Ok, when I hang up, I want you to take your right index finger and dial 911. And then pray the cops get there in time to save you.
Skye: I hope this is just a bad cell connection, Jax, because it really sounded like you were blowing me off.
Jax: I'm not buying this, Skye.
Skye: What's not to buy? I'm just asking for your help.
Jax: Ok, firstly, if Sonny's men kidnapped you, why did they let you keep your cell phone?
Skye: Lucky me, they didn't check my pantyhose.
Jax: Oh, well, that's an interesting place to keep it.
Alexis: Let me guess. She's in the process of fabricating another threat from Sonny?
Jax: Why did you call me and not the cops? I mean, they have special equipment to trace cell phones. They're prepared to handle these kind of situations.
Skye: Well, excuse me, but I don't want to become headlines in tomorrow's paper, all right? "ELQ CEO Kidnapped by Mob Boss." Yeah, well, I'd like my stock to be worth what it was when I got tossed in this place.
Jax: Yeah, well, I doubt that'll be a problem. Where are you?
Skye: Well, they didn't leave me a letterhead.
Jax: Well, did you hear anything? Did you smell anything?
Skye: Well, there are foghorns, and the whole place stinks like rancid meat. I don't know, there are lots of hooks and it's cold and getting colder. It's on the docks. I know that.
Jax: Yeah, it certainly sounds like it.
Skye: Well, if Sonny can throw AJ into the meat locker, why can't he do the same thing to me? Jax? Are you there?
Jax: Look, try not to fall asleep. I'll see what I can do.
Alexis: You know as well as I do that Sonny did not threaten her or abduct her.
Jax: Yeah, you know what, you might be right. But given the way you feel about Sonny, I'd be a fool to take your word about him, either.
------------------------------
Skye: AJ isn't even going to check on me until... Oh, my God! Not until tomorrow morning! That's hours from now! Oh, I could freeze by then. And for what?! For nothing! Jax, you cretin! Why can't you just be predictable for once in your life? Oh, all right. This is getting ridiculous now. Come on! Open up, you stupid door! This is not the way it was supposed to go.
[Key turns in lock]
Skye: Jax! I was beginning to think that you deserted me. Thank you for proving me wrong.
Jax: Firstly, you're stupid to go up against Sonny alone.
Skye: I, I know. I realize that now.
Jax: I want this to stop before you really get hurt.
Skye: I had to do something.
Jax: Well, don't worry, you're going to, but not alone.
Skye: You have a plan?
Jax: Yes. I'm going to expose Sonny Corinthos for the criminal that he is. You see, he's got Alexis and far too many other people in this town believing that he's a good, honorable man with shady connections instead of a card-carrying racketeer. So this is what we're going to do. I'm going to take you down to the PCPD right now, and you are going to give them a statement, which will lead to the arrest and conviction of Sonny Corinthos.
Skye: I can't go to the police.
Jax: Ok, fine. Then we'll just call them and they can send someone to take your statement.
Skye: Well, what am I going to say?
Jax: Well, you could start by describing who did this to you.
Skye: I told you. I couldn't see their faces. They had hoods on. I can't identify them.
Jax: Did they speak?
Skye: No!
Jax: How many were there?
Skye: Three, three, I think. Two, two or three.
Jax: Tall, short? Any cologne? Anything at all?
Skye: Jax, they were careful, you know? They grabbed me from behind, they shoved me in a car, and they dumped me here.
Jax: But you're still absolutely certain that they were Sonny's men?
Skye: Yes! Of course!
Jax: I got to hand it to Sonny. It sounds like a real professional job.
Skye: Oh, and this surprises you?
Jax: Not really.
Skye: You know, Sonny, Sonny did this because I challenged him, and Sonny does not like to be challenged by women.
Jax: He also doesn't target women.
Skye: Says who?
Jax: Someone who ought to know, Alexis.
Skye: Oh, please. I would take anything Alexis says with a grain of salt. You know, she's not only his attorney.
Jax: Yes?
Skye: Well, they happen to share more than a lawyer-client relationship. For one thing, they live across the hall from each other. You know what they say about proximity and opportunity.
Jax: I see.
Skye: I don't know what happened to me tonight. I'm usually better at handling these kind of things. I guess I got a little more than frightened.
Jax: I have no doubt.
Skye: You know, I don't think that I'm going to feel comfortable staying at my place tonight. Do you think that... Find something?
[Jax removes something from the ground]
Jax: No, nothing at all. You were saying?
Skye: I hate to be a burden, but do you think that I could stay at your place tonight? I don't think I'm going to be able to feel safe.
Jax: Well, I know just the place where you'll feel safe. Come with me.
------------------------------
AJ: All right. I'm coming. Bad timing.
Jax: Skye, I think you'll be safe here. I just wanted to make sure that your sister was okay after all she's had to endure.
AJ: That's darn nice, Jax.
Jax: Oh, and by the way, I think you might have dropped this in the meat locker while you were faking Skye's kidnapping.
[Jax tosses AJ his cufflink]
