Skye: Jax.
Jax: Hello, Skye.
Skye: Thanks for meeting me on such short notice. I really wanted to talk to you before the board meeting today.
Jax: Well, you weren't exactly generous with details.
Skye: Well I've talked first and thought later too many times. I've got way too much riding on this for me get in my own way.
Jax: I'm impressed.
Skye: Well, you made an excellent point. There are consequences to everything. I just want to make sure they're the right consequences this time.
Jax: It's an amicable goal.
Skye: Well, then in the interest of full disclosure, there is something that I would like to discuss with you. Well, I know that you're in the straight arrow and all that, but is it essential that your friends are saints as well?
Jax: I don't have a single saintly friend that I can think of and when it comes to business I've been known to be quite ruthless when I'm after something I want.
Skye: Well, then in that case, I've got something planned for the board meeting today that I think you are really gonna like.
Skye: Well, I've done all the legwork. All I have to do now is just wait for the pieces to fall into place. Oh, you see a hole in the plan don't you? Oh, you have to tell me. I don't want to walk into that board meeting and make a complete fool out of myself.
Jax: No. There's no hole, Skye. It's brilliant. Congratulations.
Skye: You really think so?
Jax: I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna have to make some calls before the meeting so my people are ready.
Skye: Oh. Oh, no, no, no. I'm paying for these drinks. You can pay for the celebratory drinks afterwards.
Jax: Well, I'll see you at the meeting then. You know, you're turning out to be a better friend than I thought.
[Jax leaves]
Skye: That's the whole idea.
