Jax: Is Sonny Corinthos threatening you through my personal computer now? In case you're wondering, the password's valentine14.
Skye: There's a perfectly innocent explanation for this. I want to buy you a gift, and what does one buy for the man who truly has everything?
Jax: Right.
Skye: So I thought that maybe I could get some clues into your secret yearnings or passions from your computer. And you're not buying any of this, are you?
Jax: You know, I pride myself on not being a complete idiot, but I am going to need a little help on this one.
Skye: How may I assist?
Jax: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't sever all ties with you as of 10 minutes ago?
Skye: The main reason that you should not sever ties with me is that the reason for my snooping into your computer has absolutely nothing to do with my work at ELQ, it's strictly personal.
Jax: Go on.
Skye: Well, you have something I want.
Jax: Well, that's pretty clear.
Skye: Something that makes Edward behave.
Jax: You think I keep that in my computer? Under blackmail documents, perhaps?
Skye: Well, it's a place to start.
Jax: Why do you need something to hold over your grandfather's head, anyway? Didn't you just assure me that he's just a poor old man imagining that you fabricated Sonny's threats so that I will continue playing your protector?
Skye: I dislike it when somebody knows something that I don't, ok? If you have something on Edward, I want it, too.
Jax: You want to know what bothers me? How on earth do you remember all the lies you've told so you don't get caught by the new ones you're constantly spinning?
Ned: That is the million-dollar question. Please tell me you've come to your senses about my cousin, the human train wreck, and you now realize that she is making up all these so-called threats against her.
Jax: Is there something I can do for you, Ned?
Ned: Yes, there is. You can explain why you gave this woman information to hold over my grandfather's head. Now, if you want to blackmail grandfather, that's your business, but do not give whatever it is you have to Skye. The Jax I used to know would never make that mistake.
Jax: I didn't give Skye anything on Edward.
Ned: Oh, so Skye lied. What a shock.
Skye: Do you blame me? I just wanted to nail your feet to the floor so you wouldn't run around all over town trying to have me tarred and feathered for giving Edward as good as he gave me. But obviously, I failed since here you are in whining color.
Ned: Will you excuse us? Let's go.
Ned: Charming, isn't she? Not only is she a liar, a blackmailer, a pathological narcissist, she's just unpleasant. Just, hear me out, ok? Now, if you really enjoy Skye's company, be my guest. It's your life, you can wreck it any way you want. But as long as you have a controlling interest in my family's company, please, please try to retain a shred of common sense.
Jax: Are you saying that I've stopped thinking with my brain when it comes to Skye?
Ned: I couldn't have said it better myself.
Jax: You know, Ned, that is an interesting allegation.
Ned: Well, what kind of friend would I be if I stood by and let you make a complete fool of yourself?
Jax: Well, thank you.
Ned: You're welcome.
Jax: And thank you for stopping by, and say hello to your grandfather.
Ned: Well, I will. Jax...
Jax: Thanks for stopping by, Ned.
Ned: You heard what I had to say...
[Door slams]
Skye: Look, to answer your question from earlier, I do not tell so many lies that I cannot remember what I told people.
Jax: You know, Ned thinks that I've stopped thinking with my brain when it comes to you. Do you?
Skye: Well, we both know that no one leads you around unless you want to be led, but its nice to think that I could. But that would have to mean that you were attracted to me Jax, are you attracted to me?
Jax: I'm not dead, Skye.
Skye: Me neither. So, we've acknowledged this kind of electric current that shows up between us. Do you think that its getting in our way?
Jax: Well, Ned obviously thinks so.
Skye: Last thing I want is to do any harm to your reputation.
Jax: Oh, thank you.
Skye: We could just go to bed together and get it out of the way.
