[Skye is upset because she saw Jax comforting Carly and she thinks she's just being used, that she's not special to him.]
Jax: Ooh, hey. Party's inside, what are you doing out here in the cold?
Skye: I wanted to be alone.
Jax: Well, I actually came out looking for Kristina. Have you seen her?
Skye: Let me guess, another woman you're helping?
[Later, during the party, Jax manages to catch up to Skye although she's doing her best to avoid him.]
Jax: Skye? Hey, why do I get the feeling that you're avoiding me?
Skye: Well, you're just as perceptive as ever, and just as full of it.
Jax: You know, last I looked, we were being civil to each other.
Skye: Last time I looked, you were conning me.

Jax: Oh, yes, we're back to paranoia.
Skye: No, try back to reality. I've seen your act, and I must admit it's very compelling, the way you can look into a woman's eyes and make her feel like she's the only woman on the planet and you're totally captivated.
Jax: I don't get it. What the hell is wrong with you, Skye?!
[Skye doesn't answer, just storms away]
