Skye: How much further?
Jax: About a half-hour. Oh, 27 minutes, to be exact.
Skye: Whoa. Ok, talk to me. Tell me this is not my worst nightmare happening, that Sonny will not get to AJ before we do.
Jax: Sonny may have a head start, but he doesn't have me piloting his plane.
Skye: The worst thing about Sonny is how charming he can be. That night that he showed up at my office, basically threatening AJ's life, he was smiling the whole time. He never raised his voice. He never said or did anything that the police or a jury would ever find menacing. He was polite, a little flirtatious, and as cold as death. That man gets exactly what he wants, and what he wants right now is to make AJ disappear.
Jax: Don't let Sonny scare you.
Skye: That man would be in a cell right now if you hadn't stepped in.
Jax: Ok, you know what? When I get Sonny, it will stick, ok, and it won't be based on a lie.
Skye: Yeah, well, tell that to my brother! I, I'm sorry, ok? I, I'm mad at AJ, not you.
Jax: What would you say to AJ if he was here right now?
Skye: I'd say, I'd say, "Damn you, AJ. Look what you've brought on yourself. What are you thinking, taking on Corinthos and then some? Taking his sister to prove what? What, exactly? That you can stand up to Sonny Corinthos?"
----------------------------------------
[On Sonny's plane]
Pilot: We're making our final descent, Mr. Corinthos, and we caught a break. We're the last plane they're allowing to land today.
----------------------------------------
Air Traffic Controller: 34-Papa?
Jax: This is 34-Papa.
Controller: This is St. Sophia control tower. You have a problem. Field is below IFR minimums.
Skye: What does that mean?
Jax: Weather.
Controller: We're diverting you to St. Thomas.
Skye: No!
Jax: Tower, requesting permission to land, over.
Controller: Clearance denied due to fog.
Jax: That's not a problem, tower. We got state-of-the-art equipment. We can land on instruments.
Controller: Permission denied due to poor visibility.
Jax: Tower, this is 34-Papa. This is Jasper Jacks piloting. We have a bit of an emergency situation. We are low on fuel. I repeat, we are low on fuel. We cannot divert to St. Thomas. Permission to land, over?
Controller: 34-Papa, cleared for landing.
Skye: Flying and landing your own plane by instrument through the fog so you can help me? That is definitely a first for any man in my life. I am, I'm very impressed.
Jax: Well, let's not celebrate yet. We still got to drop this thing over the mountain.
Skye: Excuse me? "Drop"?!
Jax: It's a term, you know. I mean, "land" would probably be a better word.
Skye: I mean, you can see the runway, though, right?
Jax: Well, generally, you know, the runways aren't very big. They're about the size of a postage stamp on these little islands, and, you know, there's a lot of fog, so we might not be able to see it.
Skye: I can't believe I dragged you into this. I mean, risking my own neck is one thing, but I didn't mean to drag you into it.
Jax: Such a pretty neck it is. I'll take good care of it, don't worry.
Skye: Jax, look, if you don't want to go through with this, I won't hold it against you. I swear, I won't think that you let me down.
Jax: You trust me, don't you?
Skye: I don't know why, but, yeah, I do.
Jax: Well, then hang on. And you might want to put on that shoulder strap because this is going to get a little bumpy.
[Jet tires screech]
Jax: Well, we're on the ground.
Skye: How can you tell? I can barely see the runway.
Jax: Call it instinct.
Skye: You always look on the bright side, don't you?
Jax: That's because that's where the fun is.
Skye: Oh, keep telling me that.
Jax: You all right?
Skye: Yeah. I'm just a little shaky, that's all.
Jax: Come here.
Jax: That better? Ok, now let's go find your brother.
----------------------------------------
Jax: The villa's on the north bay. It shouldn't take too long to get there.
Skye: Excuse us.
Goon #1: Mr. Corinthos would like you to go back home.
Goon #2: Now.
Jax: Why don't we, why don't we resolve this like gentlemen?
Goon #1: Come with us, please.
Goon #2: We'll escort you to your plane.
Jax: Ok, $100,000 to each of you to let us pass. It can be a private transaction. Mr. Corinthos will never have to know about it.
Goon #1: No, thank you.
Jax: $100,000, gentlemen. That's a lot of money. That's your, that's your kids' college education right there. You can pay off your mortgage or buy a new car.
Goon #2: Keep your money, but thank you.
Jax: I understand. Let's go, Skye.
